”Teachers coming from general education usually work for cooperative middle schools in order to help students to be bettere prepared for the transfer to the secondary school.

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) of Dobrich, Bulgaria, is the biggest business support organization in the region of Dobrich, part of the network of the Bulgarian Chambers of Commerce and Industry.

The goal of the Chamber of Commerce of Dobrich is to increase economic growth, stimulate international trade, encourage transnational cooperation.

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Dobrich is very active in European cooperation. It is part of the Europe Enterprise Network, it participated in a number of Lifelong Learning project, focusing in particular on language learning. One of the CCI’s projects, entitled Signs in the City, was awarded the European Language Label in 2008.

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Dobrich will contribute to the NELLIP network, sharing their experiences and expertise, participating in the dissemination of project information and contributing to the exploitation and sustainability of the network’s deliverables.

EURORESO is a network that has been in existence for several decades, firstly as a Brussels-based registered organisation, with partners in all Member States.

Currently, the EURORESO network involves 41 partners from 25 different European countries. One of the main purposes of the network (which is devoid of any intentions to make profit) is to disseminate projects and programmes and their results and products. The network structure and capacity of its members ensures the success of this task, as shown in many projects where EURORESO has participated as an active partner with a role focused on dissemination by all possible and available means. Euroreso will contribute to the NELLIP through: exchange of experience and expertise during and after the project; participation in the Dissemination of the project information; promotion of the information about the project to our network of contacts; contribution to exploitation and sustainability of the project results; contribution to the maintenance of the project results in the future.

Since 2003, SYNTHESIS has had a European presence and participated in a number of educational and research projects relevant to addressing the needs of various target groups. Amiedu is Finland’s leading vocational adult education centre, serving the educational and training needs of some 23.000 adults every year.The training programmes and competence development services of Amiedu include over 90 vocational qualifications, nearly 40 certification programmes and various short courses.

Axxell was founded on the 1st of August 2008 and consists currently of nine former regional schools along the western and southern coasts of Finland.

Axxell offers vocational education and training for both youngsters and adults. Axxell is one of the biggest vocational education providers in Finland: a team of 50 language and guidance teachers provide Finnish language training and career guidance for migrants helping to integrate newcomers to Finnish society.

Axxell as a second language training provider will disseminate and exploit the NELLIP Network results in developing process of its own teaching approaches, methods and teaching skills. Furthermore having broad network both in Finland and Europe, the best practices could be disseminated through these.

The city of Hämeenlinna is the 14th biggest one in Finland with its 68000 inhabitants. Among the domains of its Community Council there are: basic education (ages 7-15) with 6464 pupils, upper secondary school (ages 16-18) with 1462 students, culture (libraries, museums, art education) and youth work.

The City of Hämeenlinna was awarded the European Language Label in 2011 for the project entitled “The Language Circus”

The city of Hämeenlinna is member of the NELLIP network because it fully supports its aims and objectives and is interested in the sharing and exploitation of its in progress and final results.

Its contribution to the NELLIP network includes the insertion of the NELLIP results on the official curriculum approved by the “Board of Children, Young and Quality of life”. Jaakko Ilkka School is a mixed comprehensive school of about 500 pupils between ages 13 to 16 (forms 7, 8 and 9). It is situated in western Finland in the rural region of southern Ostrobothnia, 400 kilometres from Helsinki.

Besides the usual compulsory subjects they pay special attention to international communication skills, environmental issues, computer studies etc. The school was awarded the European Language Label in 2011 for the project entitled “Motivation to learn the second national language”

Kielitivoli, Language Circus, of Turku and Rauma area (controlled by the city of Turku) is a language learning promotion venture, the target being the promotion of a more extensive foreign language learning programme in basic education.

Several municipalities in South-western Finland are members of Kielitivoli. Kielitivoli has created an extensive network among the foreign language teachers. It obtained the Label in 2011 for the project entitled “Kielireppu”

Luksia offers vocational qualifications and tailored personnel training to meet the needs of individuals, private companies and public institutions. Each year, Luksia caters for approximately 7.000 certificate and adult students with a staff of around 400. Luksia operates in two main units in Lohja and in Nummela, and it is owned by 10 member municipalities in the Western Uusimaa region.

Omnia, The Joint Authority of Education in Espoo Region, is a multisectoral educational organisation. Omnia has approximately 10000 students and 700 personnel. Omnia also co-operates with the other education institutes of Uusimaa and with the Finnish National Board of Education.

The Machiavelli Centre was founded in 1978. One of our principal objectives is to promote interaction between students and real daily life in Florence and in Italy, by providing linguistic and cultural tools and creating opportunity for exchanges.

Since 1988, the school has been part of TANDEM Network, an International Association of Language Schools. Since 2003, the Centre is officially recognized by the Ministry of Education; in 2005, it obtained the ISO9001:2000 certification of quality. In 2008, the school was recognized as a consultancy and training organisation for Lifelong Learning accredited by the Tuscany region. The Centre also operates within EU programmes and in training activities. In the last 7 years, Centro Machiavelli realized several mobility and multilateral projects. In 2012, it received the European Language Label for creating an innovative multimedia English language learning programme for blind and visually impaired students.

Centro Machiavelli will contribute to the dissemination of the results through its social media, its blog and linking the NELLIP project in its website.

“In viaggio con Fatih e le Lingue” the project which was awarded the Label in 2011, is the school’s first step in this direction, has raised the conviction that European projects are very important as they provide the school with the opportunity to share experiences and to improve their competences.

A project for the promotion of the knowledge of Greek language was launched more than a decade ago in some secondary schools of the Veneto Region and so extra teaching of modern Greek language is being provided.

The project, entitled “The Greek language in the Veneto schools between antiquity and future” obtained the Label in 2011.

This initiative, which is involving various public and private institutions from the Region as well as from Greece and Cyprus, has become really popular. This project, submitted with Marco Foscarini high school in Venice (coordinator of the network of high schools in the Veneto Region where it was tested) was awarded the European Language Label in 2011. Ca’ Foscari’ contribution will focus on the organization of a public event for the presentation of the project for the promotion of the Greek language in the secondary schools in the Veneto Region. The General Jonas Zemaitis Military Academy of Lithuania is a state-sponsored institution of higher leaming based in Vilnius, Lithuania.

It was founded in 1994 by the Lithuanian Seimas, and is overseen by the Ministry of National Defense. Originally known as the Military Academy of Lithuania, it was renamed in 1998 in honor of General Jonas Zemaitis, a commander ofthe armed anti-soviet resistance in Lithuania. The Academy participates in diverse international Cooperation Programs in scientific research work and in various foreign language methodological fields. It can give a strong contribution in terms of the dissemination and exploitation of the project results by providing its assistance in implementation new developed methodological approaches, reports, guidelines, good practices and other issues into language training and administration of the personnel. Though the Institute of Foreign Languages, as an independent unit of Vilnius University, was founded in 1999, language teaching at the University boasts old and deep-rooted traditions.

Within the latest decades, teaching of foreign languages at the University was organized by special departments for foreign languages under the Faculty of Philology, which in 1999 formed what is now known as the Institute of Foreign Languages. Agrupamento de Escolas de Sátão includes Escola Secundaria Frei Rosa Viterbo, a secondary school located in Sátão, a small rural town 30 km from the city of Viseu, in the north of Portugal.

It is a disadvantaged area as it is a poor region where many parents are farmers, factory workers, or working in the construction. The majority of the students have no opportunities to use a foreign language outside the classroom doors or to meet other culture which deepens their lack of cultural sensitivity and curiosity towards other cultures. The school obtained the Label in 2008 for the project entitled “LOA – Learning from/with one another”. Official certificates based upon the CEFR global scale levels of competence are issued by the local Government every year.

ATIFE is a group of teachers of different educational levels interested in promoting foreign languages learning through short plays. Some of them belong to Spanish public schools and they teach English or French to their students.

Some others are just teachers with a good level of English and French who promote intercultural bounds or who teach in Drama Schools, and there is also a University Teacher. They were awarded the European language Label for the project entitled Certamen de Teatro en Inglés y Francés Estrangis - ATIFE developed from 2003 to 2010. It as a short plays drama contest aiming at helping students of all ages to improve their use of oral English in a ludic situation. Ink Studies Center is a cooperative of people teaching languages for over 15 years, mainly English and Castilian.

We have skilled and trained people in the teaching of languages and philology, including our management team in a native US. We have taught at the university level in Spain (Universidad Pablo de Olavide University of Seville, the Andalusian Centre of European Studies, University of Andalusia Higher Studies, the School of Hospitality and Farm Extremadura) and the US (Univ. North Carolina-Chapel Hill) and we have an extensive academic background. We have also been responsible for Languages and Jef @ s Studies, and thanks to this we have gained experience in different teaching methods and own an extensive library of materials for the class. Jämtlands Gymnasium (JGY) – Federation of Upper Secondary Schools in the County of Jämtland – consists of upper secondary schools owned by the municipalities of Bräcke, Krokom, Ragunda and Őstersund with 2900 students.

The Federation’s is responsible for the upper seconday education as well as education for pupils with learning disabilities and for some of the municipal adult education. JGY has an international approach to learning. JGY was awarded the European Language Label in 2002 for the project „Group writing – models for strategical thinking“. JGY will exchange experience and expertise within the NELLIP network as well as promotie the network through internal and external communication channels. The organization will also adapt the results of NELLIP in the day to day activities of the school.

Through its, 4Nyear Mentoring and Enrichment Programme, ACD helps students with high potential see the importance of education through university residentials, workshops, company visits, and one-to-one sessions with volunteer mentors from multinational companies.
