Projet interculturel hispano-français

Telecom and Management SudParis, two universities in Evry, have started this project. As the Hispanic community is growing on the campus (students are coming from Spain, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru and Venezuela), French and Spanish students are working together on a multicultural project by mixing their native language and the new technologies. The language is studied while focusing on conversations on many themes (geopolitics, literature, arts, gastronomy, and student life) in order to understand the stereotypes, the manners, the hobbies and the work life. These “informal” exchanges are part of the program and replace traditional courses in order to graduate. This method is going to be used in German, English and Chinese Studies.

Consistency with the European policies in the field of language learning

  • promotion of new approaches to language teaching and learning
  • promotion of multilingualism
  • promotion of recognition and validation of language skills acquired through non formal and informal education
  • promotion of the development of teaching material for the learning of less widely spoken languages
