Languages, ICT and CLIL

Peace School in London is a supplementary school formed with the aim of enabling children to develop a better understanding of the Arabic language and culture through an engaging and inspiring curriculum. The school has two key aims; to enable pupils to develop a better understanding of the Islamic/Arab culture, and to encourage children and families to better integrate with British society and to contribute positively to this multicultural society. This content and language integrated learning (CLIL) project links the Arabic language with the subjects students study at school, so the project is relevant to daily life. The ICT and Smartboard equipment is used to make lessons more interactive.
