Arriba

Arriba is a Spanish language and global cultural awareness project, which was launched in September 2010 at Canterbury Cross Primary School in Birmingham. This project is an exciting and energetic, whole school, initiative where Spanish has been developed as an integral part of the curriculum at Key Stage 2. The focus is on linguistic progression and the development of a cultural understanding of the Spanish speaking world. The initiative complements and capitalises on the rich linguistic and cultural diversity of the school and its community, where many pupils and parents are multilingual.
