The Danish Simulator

The Danish simulator is an interactive 3D language training platform, a computer game that allows students to quickly acquire cultural and communicative skills in Danish and use them to move around in a virtual world, a 3D representation of Vejle and Jelling. Student plays the role of Bob from Hawaii with the task to write a tourist guide about Denmark. He must find the Jelling stone with help of the inhabitants using the built-in speech recognizer. If he is understood, inhabitants will answer back, dialogue occurs and the game continues.
