EdOnWeb Online English Course

This was an Internet-based course in general and the language for workplace was English. The course combined of a normal textbook, a CD-ROM grammar, class tuition and online lessons. The online lessons contained specially-devised-teaching material and exercises with selected resources that were already available on the Internet, often the individual pages were chosen from larger websites (a link checker was run regularly). The new software had been developed to simplify the publication of teaching materials and exercises, course administration and student-teacher contact via the Internet. The website comprised individual lessons with homework, interactive exercises, a notice board and discussion group, students' answers, a class list with contact details, a chat-room, links, games and a site search function. The project website is now part of Norway's major online secondary school.
