Achtung Marchenland!

Children from the primary school at the age of 6 – 8 (Year 1 and 2) are motivated for learning of German through fairy tales. Various themes are prepared every month, e.g. Jack and Jill, Little Red Riding Hood and Andersen’s fairy tales. Pupils can learn basic German words in another interesting way. They learn interviews with the context of main topic of a fairy tale and then play performances. Interviews are aimed at acquisition of language knowledge in area of food and drinks, clothes, introduction, animals etc. Older pupils play a role of storytellers.
