The Weather
The project encouraged the pupils’ interest in language learning, enriched their knowledge and promoted their acceptance of other cultures and lifestyles. Our chosen topic, “Weather” is presented in the five languages taught at school – Greek, English, French, Italian and Spanish. Each language deals with a specific aspect of the weather, using dialogue form. The introduction, conclusion and the connecting commentary between the different dialogues is in Greek. The aspects examined are as follows: - The effects of weather on the economy, in English - The effects of weather on social and psychological behaviour, in Italian - The effects of weather on eating habits, in Spanish - Weather as it appears in literature and specifically in poetry , in Greek - Weather as it appears in art and music, in French
