CLIL…ing geography: international day

The "International Day" is focused on the development of English as vehicular language for geographic content. The presence of four students of extra-Italian origin in a class offered the opportunity to make better known about the countries they come from, with the aim of improving their relationship with the other pupils and the interactions between the various cultures. The acquisition of L2 (English) came about through activities focused on and cultural research. The project aimed at fostering the integration of four students (respectively from China, Morocco, Romania and Switzerland). The objectives achieved were linguistic, cultural and social, thanks to the knowledge of different environmental and socio-cultural stereotypes and the possibility to overcome prejudices.
