Despertar a las lenguas
The School of Languages has created a project aimed at introducing multilingualism addressed to primary students. This project started to be promoted in Europe under different names (language awareness, éveil aux langues), supporting mobility for language learning. As for the methodology used, students came in and there was a map of Europe drawn on the floor. Each student had a flag representing a country and a card (a suitcase). They learnt to locate different countries, and they submerged in each country, learning greeting formulas, and cultural aspects. At last they have travelled around Europe and they are able to recognize different languages and short sentences.
