TKT - Content and Language Integrated Learning. Nuove metodologie di insegnamento della lingua inglese per un approccio linguistico integrato
This was a specialist 70-hour course, organised by IAL Friuli Venezia Giulia, held in English and designed for 25 teachers/neo-graduates/language assistants who are involved in CLIL programmes, interpreters, translators, teachers of English as an Academic language (EAL), and teachers of subjects other than language who have to conduct the lesson in English. It conforms to the criteria laid out in the European Profile far Language Trainers. Developing cognitive language skills (CALP) and the European multi-language competence, CLIL offers an innovative approach to integrated learning through combined language and non-language content leading to a more deep, complex knowledge and intercultural understanding than I could otherwise be expected through traditional teaching.
