Kuldtipp (Golden Peak)

The Golden Peak project was a Web-based competition on translating texts from media publications. The competition was open to all schools all over Estonia regardless the level or language of tuition. The competition had two phases. During the 1st phase every participant had to input 5 different translations from newspapers published during the phase. The 2nd phase took place on the Mother Tongue Day (14.03.), it lasted 15 hours only and the participants had to translate and input only one text. Registered participants: 137. Assessment was orgnised by the Estonian Union of Interpreters and was also a web-based activity.
