The Russian Language Day

The Russian Language Day was organised to promote the learning of Russian at school. The format of the day was a movie program like Oscar Gala. The movies were up to 15 minutes, everything starting from the idea up to shooting was done by pupils. The teacher's role was to supervise and advise where and when needed. The gala was called "Golden Nikita" to honour the well known Russian actor and producer Nikita Mihhalkov. The school staff, pupils, parents, alumni, even "paparazzi" were present in the gala evening and nominees walked in on the red carpet. The jury was established and the Golden Nikitas were awarded to the best female and male actor, to the best film idea, decorations, costumes etc. Coordinator: MTÜ Agathe/Tartu Katoliku Kool Edeli Viljasoo Tartu Tel: +372 53 992314 [email protected]
