European Evironment - Understanding by Comminication
The main purpose of the project was to represent military monuments. The monument in Kalniske woods of Lithuania commemorating the heroes of the battle in 1945 was investigated. Pupils had integrated English-History and Lithuanian-History lessons. The lessons were given right in the place of the battle. Partisans of Kalniske battle were interviewed. A march to the place of the battle was organized. The multilingual newspaper and brochure were published. The stand "Kalniske Forever" was erected. The main goal of the activities was to make the period of Lithuanian resistance accessible to the foreign tourists and everyone interested.
