The e-course in question is www.keeleklikk.ee, an e-learning course of Estonian for language skill level 0-A2 which was developed with the support of European Social Fund and Estonian Ministry of Education (a promotional video introducing the course can be found here
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CQxYJ4511wg&context=C4965a32ADvjVQa1PpcFOJELLVQ0ItMjFWmqDlZNXRnUmeJNfwvog=) The Estonian e-course Keeleklikk (literally: click on language) has been built to be as entertaining as well as effective taking the learner step-by-step through the topics of language. In a nutshell, Keeleklikk includes about 1000 interactive tasks, 100 humorous videos teaching grammar and 200 cartoons, which all lead the learner to a good beginner’s level language skill. Keeleklikk is well suited for self-study. Using the course is free of charge and also the number of learners is not limited. All this means a considerable saving for the State in providing free possibilities for language learning. The course also features a unique possibility that the learners can send their written tasks to a real teacher of Estonian who answers them personally and sends feedback. During the first two months of operation the Keeleklikk got more than 5500 registered users.

THE INITIATIVE PROMOTER’S PERSPECTIVE
Background
The project aims at promoting Estonian as one of the LWULT languages
The project has been financed by the European Social Fund and the Estonian Ministry of Education and Science, and it is free of charge for anyone who wishes to use it.
Objectives
The project aimed at creating an attractive and motivating Estonian language course for beginners ( up to A2 CEFR level)that can be used in classroom and for self-studies
Approach
In 2010 -2012 the course was offered only for Russian speaking learners, later the English version was developed.
Results
The course consists of 16 comprehensive language learning units that include a total of 200 animations, over 100 videos that explain grammar and roughly 1200 exercises. Keeleklikk also features a real Estonian teacher with whom students can exchange letters via e-mail.

Message: I am very interested in this initiative because for personal reason I must learn Estonian. It is very difficult to find self teaching sources for Estonian which is a very complicated Language. Thanks to this source I can try and practice Estonian online.
