Com as Línguas e a Arte a caminho da Cidadania
Brief description
The pedagogical approach aims at improving the written and oral skills using diversified activities and materials, integrating language learning with the raise of awareness to active citizenship. Another target is also to foster their critic skill and the motivation for understanding artistic expressions, such as literature, fine-arts, photography and music. This method aims at reaching a greater motivation and output from the pupils in the language learning process, as well as increasing the diversity of their cultural awareness. Simultaneously, this approach is being assessed as it is being used. Along the school year were used such as poems and printings that the pupils under guidance, had to describe, comment, interpret or used them as a springboard for further written production assignments. All the material is available on the school web site.
