Liverpool Primary Foreign Languages Project

The Liverpool Primary Modern Foreign Languages Project offers a comprehensive service of teaching, training and support to enable primary schools to deliver Modern Foreign Languages (MFL). The team provides high quality teaching of French, German, Spanish and Mandarin to 85 primary schools across the city of Liverpool. In addition there are 14 Centres of Excellence for MFL who act as beacons of good practice for French, German and Spanish. The project was chosen by the Spanish Consejería de Educación to become a pioneering ‘Spanish Section’, one of only two programmes running in the UK.
