Modern Foreign Languages Student Leadership

The "MFL Student Leadership" project annually selects students from year 13 to be Ambassadors for French, German and Spanish and to take responsibility for leading and training Language Leaders from Year 10 into Year 11, whose work is accredited. Later the Leaders can become Ambassadors and work with the next generation. Year 10 students (approximately 30 a year) are trained in the summer before they move into Year 11 by the Ambassadors and existing Language Leaders. The training involves communication skills, inter-personal skills, and adaptability to various audiences (primary, KS3/KS4 students, adults).
