From zero 2 zero - the European in all of us
The project involved six different schools from across Europe and addressed, through the innovative use of ICT and creative literacy, topics such as: active European citizenship, linguistic competence and cultural diversity. By increasing the participants’ knowledge of European cultures and diversity within Europe, the project aimed at improving, in students and staff, the knowledge and understanding of what it truly means to be a European Citizen. The innovative language activities were aimed at improving the students’ linguistic competence. The partnership put into practice new organisational and pedagogical approaches and involved also cooperation with the local community of the school (local authorities and social services). This project has increased the pupils’ motivation towards English and the future contacts with mates from other European countries.
