Interactive ABC

Description Within the framework of the project "Interactive ABC", ABCs in the Latvian, Russian, English and French languages are designed for children starting from the age of 2 years and for everyone who wants to master the basic knowledge of these languages. Children have high inner motivation during this period of infancy (2-4 years); they have natural interest in everything new, ability to concentrate persistently and elevated interest in e-matters. The alphabet of each language depicts all letters (both capital letters and small letters) in a very attractive way and plays its pronunciation as well as the word and word combinations beginning wi th the respective letter. Each letter is supplemented with appropriate cheerful and interactive illustrations that motivate and help in mastering the alphabet of the respective language easily and in short time. This program introduces with the letters, develops the ability to recognise the letters and to understand the correlation between a letter and a word as well as fosters memory, persistence of attention and attentiveness. Features: • Children can learn individually; • Possibility to revise; • Senses of hearing and touch are used during the process of learning: the child has to touch a certain , marked place on a touch-sensitive screen to hear the sound or to make the illustration active; • Child is taught by a child - the sounds of letters and words are recorded by children.
