Language Learning by Radio (LALERA)

This initiative, realised by the “Centro Informazione e Educazione allo Sviluppo – CIES”, aims at setting up a didactic path for teaching Italian and Romanian languages by means of radio broadcasts. It is addressed to home healthcare nurses. The project objectives are: 1. establishing a theoretical paradigm of linguistic training addressed to experts, teachers and institutions of language training and based on the integration of remote teaching techniques (radio broadcasts, websites); 2. setting a framework for learning Italian addressed to Romanian women working as home healthcare nurses. The model includes the creation of a radio broadcast in two phases: a first phase in the native country of the workforce, a second phase in the country where the workforce is active.
