Dynamo- Network for Facilitating Basic Qualifications and Graduation Diplomas for Young Adults as well as Integration in the Educational System and Employability

Target groups included teenagers and young adults with a migration background, institutions and professionals (educators and mentors), as well as Subject teachers involved in basic education. The project addresses key themes such as: Equality of chances for young people and related to this, better integration perspectives in the educational system and society, and employability; Ensuring compliance with basic education and qualification requirements, as well as successful school for young adults with a migration background, thus reducing the unemployment rate through qualifications. Project Deliverables: more than 3100 students received educational, professional- socio-psychological counselling only in 2008. Plans for the future included diversifying the range of services offered, e.g. offering consultancy to companies.

  • promotion of new approaches to language teaching and learning
  • promotion of multilingualism
  • focus on the development of tools for monitoring progresses in the field of language learning
  • promotion of recognition and validation of language skills acquired through non formal and informal education
  • focus on linking between VET qualifications that include language skills and the CEFR
  • promotion of the development of teaching material for the learning of less widely spoken languages
