Multilingual Teaching in Specialism Subjects Promotion of Languages with an Emphasis on Mothertongues

Target groups: The target group of this project is the first class (1a and 1b) of the Cooperative Middle School NMS Selzergasse. Objectives: - The main goal of this project is that subjects, such as: biology, geography and music-are taught in the students’ mothertongue. Deliverables: - The intertwining of languages is apparently self-evident and supports the work in mathematics (reading comprehension), in German and English. - establishes a good starting point. - continues to the next grade levels and thus, can be extended to other subjects, such as: history and social studies, physics or chemistry
