Europe, My Part of the World

Target groups: secondary school students Objectives: to educate students to preserve and respect their national and European heritage, to raise interest in less widely spoken languages ( Romanian, Dutch); to stimulate teamwork and cooperation; to promote modern technologies. Deliverables: brochure to present Romania and Holland (paper copy and CD in English, Romanian and Dutch); theatre performance in English, Romanian and Dutch; audio tape of the national anthem of each country involved; mural painting in the school; planting trees in the school garden; copy of a painting by Rembrandt.

Consistency with the European policies in the field of language learning

  • promotion of new approaches to language teaching and learning
  • promotion of multilingualism
  • promotion of recognition and validation of language skills acquired through non formal and informal education
