Internationale Schreibpartnerschaften (International Pen-pals
Internationale Schreibpartnerschaften – ISP The main objective of the project is the promotion of writing competence in the mother tongue and in foreign languages, of teaching skills as well as intercultural learning. Expanding usual language tandems, ISP (international writing partnerships) are formed by two students with a different linguistic and cultural background. They are supported by a student of the teaching degree programme “Deutsch und Englisch” (German and English). The writing partners produce texts which are study-related as well as job-related and work on reflective tasks in the form of a portfolio. During the regular meetings the two language learners give feedback to each other on the created texts. The future teacher involved accompanies the writing processes by providing advice and gains thus valuable experience in the field of teaching writing skills.
