Mobile-learning: A guided tour in augmented reality

This project has 17 georeferencing points of interest (POIs) for its historical value, touristic and/or cultural, chosen by the students on their locality, Torredembarra. On these points they have designed informative videos in English so that anyone using a smart phone with Internet access, standing in front of one of these POIs, access can hear and see the original information developed by Primary school students from the sixth grade. This initiative has achieved a rigorous involvement of students in their own learning process of English "in-use" and making progress in the process according to individual needs through blended learning. It has developed the autonomy of the students in the use of new technologies, with international visibility and the opportunity to open the door for its app to other educational levels and locations. The students added a new value to the use of their mobile and computer through the applications.
