Le grand voyage / The great journey
Le grand voyage/ The great journey is a storyline based approach to learning French. Students in grade 9 create characters travelling to Paris. The students have different tasks during their journey to familiarize them with the city, the French culture and language. They document on the class blog. Lesson content, students' presentations and interesting links are published there. That allows students to share material at any time and flip the classroom. Students are put in authentic learning situations and digital content; videos from YouTube, French websites and apps are used.
