Language Asseblies - Språksamlingar
Ringsbergskolan has Language Assemblies in the three foreign languages French, German and Spanish, in grade 3-5. The aim is to give the pupils an experience of a basic vocabulary in these languages. In year six, the pupils choose one of these foreign languages to study for the next four years. Once a week, the pupils have a mini-lesson of 15 minutes where they get to know the target language in a playful way e.g. through songs, games, short movies. Result: fewer drop-outs from foreign language studies in year 6-9.
