Music award

Teachers and students from 20 schools located in different European countries have collaborated to share mutual knowledge of local and national musical traditions through the creation of a presentation of their schools', cities' and country's music albums and through a song contest held by students. All photo reports and video clips were shared on a blog and at the end of the project a vote was organised, via Skype, to elect the winner of the online festival. The coordinator of the project is the Bulgarian school. The contacts between students and teachers took place via Skype, Google groups, eTwinning platform and the Facebook group. The participating schools are of all levels, as also rhymes are part of the musical tradition. The project has united the schools in such a close collaboration that it was decided to repeat the initiative in 2014. Seven of the schools involved also take part in a Comenius project.
