Language lessons outside classroom
The project aimed at providing different opportunities for practical acquisition of Russian and at raising the interest in the Russian language and culture, geography, traditions. Pupils chose themes and places connected to the themes, collect materials and prepare for presentations. The most popular among pupils was the lesson called Kuressaare by Night. The lesson started at 10.00 pm, pupils stopped in every chosen place in the town to describe the place and introduce historical background using posters with collected materials. The posters were put on stands next day to be seen by everybody at school. All lessons outside the classroom were videotaped.
