The Project was initiated by Dublin City University, in partnership with the University of Wales and Foras na Gaeilge. The principal objective was to increase access to ICT resources in Irish among the general public. The principal outcome of the project in is an integrated database of Irish-language terminology available to the general public through the Internet, at home, at school and in the workplace. It addresses in particular the needs of business and communication enterprises, of the education sector, the translation industry and other specialist users.
