Folk Highschool Plus

Folk high school Højskolen Østersøen has developed a concept called "Highschool Plus", which is a course for 4-16 weeks followed by an employment at a company in a German speaking country such as a ski school in Austria or on a cruising ship. 'Highschool Plus' includes both Danish for foreigners and German to Danish students. The courses have a mixture of Danish and German students. The courses focus on communicative skills. This tandem learning has over the years provided nearly 80 German doctors for the Danish healthcare system.
